Corey : Are you going to be home on Friday late afternoon? I'd like to bring my system over then and get it set up and ready to go for Saturday morning. John and I are planning to brew a barleywine similar to the one that we made in October '09. How many other folks are planning to brew or show up for the brew-in? ;D
Mark PS - What time is the earliest should we show up on Saturday?

I will be up and around 7 am or so. Bring it over in the evening. I will be working on my BBQ pit and buying a new pit.

Saturday's brew-in went well and we ended up making 80 gallons counting Corey's big batch. My half of the barleywine took off this morning after I pitched last night.

I pitched my yeast and looks like its dead. Corey. What yeast should I use for that batch of brew you gave me? Again thanks for the brew.

What yeast did you use, how old was it, how and what temp did you pitch it, pretty much any beer yeast you have will work

I pitched the Safale 05 ale yeast. Hell, mine is done and delicious. Im letting it sit for a few days before kegging it.

I transferred my barleywine from the brew-in into the secondary over the weekend and it took off again. It's burping about once every 10 seconds or so. Knock on wood, it will finish at a low FG.
