John Cotton,
Will you please confirm that you are bringing your second running beer as a club keg for the Chicken Run at Ira's on Saturday.
Ira,
Will you please let us know if there is anything else members need to bring.
If anyone needs rides or wants to car pool please post here.
That is all.

What a great event y'all put on! Thank you to everybody who was involved ... I had a blast . It was nice meeting the GTHBC members who were there and sampling your great hospitality (and fantastic beers!). See y'all Thursday, Nick

Jason,
I hate to do this, but as the leader of this group I have to.
In the future, please do not volunteer to perform any more club duties unless you are sure you can follow up on the responsibilities. We had a new prospective member of the club who sought us out and made it a point to be present for this function and we did not have a club beer available.
In the future this situation should be unacceptable. Had you not volunteered, the club could have made other arrangements to have a club beer available.
Again, I am not coming down on you individually, only trying to make the point that club members should not volunteer for duties that they cannot fulfill.
Something to keep in mind going forward.
That is all.

Now hold up I was up bright and early ready to go with lightning strong wind and pouring rain and no electricity you can't blame me for that I wasn't about to drive in that weather. Maybe on your side of town it was better at that time in the morning but here was nothing pretty, and your not " calling me out individualy" well it sure as hell seems that way, and as far as in the future bring this kinda stuff up at the meeting not on here

I was able to sample some great homebrews made by club members, so please don't feel bad about that at all.
On another note, Ira's wife (Alice, I think) said that she was going to save the bratwursts (and buns/ketchup/mustard) I had brought to the Mardi Gras event for a later meeting. So, those who have her contact info might want to see if she's bringing that stuff for the meeting (assuming y'all want it ... just wanted everybody to be aware that it's there for the club since it wasn't used at the Mardi Gras event).
Thanks again, Nick

Jason,
Please stop taking everything so personally. This is business, not personal. We are never going to improve as a group if people can't take constructive criticism.

I'm back in town and plan to make it to Ronnie's this evening. I'd prefer not to drive as I am still jet lagged. Sounds like we have a few things to discuss..............

I'm still out of town so I will not be there tonight. Richard is driving home today and he won't be home until close to meeting time so he will not be there either. Someone please run the meeting in my absence.
