By now, most of you have heard that Bob McGill is in the hospital. Doug and I went to visit him this morning. Bob apparently fell off his roof while repairing a leak. The ladder kicked out from under him and dumped him on the concrete driveway. He broke his right arm, multiple ribs and badly broke up his hip. He has had surgery to fix the hip and will be in hospital rehab for about another three weeks. His room number is 6114 at Saint E's.
Carol has asked for some help clearing out a room full of Bob's stuff so he will be able to get around in a wheelchair when he gets home. We will try to do that some time early next week. Let's all think about him and visit when possible during the holiday season.

All,
I posted this on Facebook because I could not get on this website while I was in El Paso this week. We should all keep Bob in our thoughts. If anyone is available to help out Carol at home, it will be appreciated.
Also, Bob had volunteered to host the December meeting, so if someone else will volunteer to host, it will be appreciated.
Bob is and will always be a valued member of this organization. Let's come together to help him and his family through this.
That is all.

Somebody let me know when and I'll be happy to help. I should be available most of the week.

All,
Richard and I visited Bob yesterday. He is in good spirits, but he has a long road ahead of him. At this point, the plan is for some members to get together at Bob's at 9 on Tuesday morning to move somne things around and maybe take care of some beer. If anyone can attend if you will call Richard, he can give you details.
As for the meeting, I will host again if no one else is available. Dean has January. Mark has the Christmas party.
I know it's been a long year guys. Let's end it on a high note.
That is all.

I spoke to Bob this evening and he is at home in one piece. He has another procedure, not related to his fall, scheduled next month, and appears to be on the road to recovery. Let's keep him and his family in our thoughts during this holiday season.

I spoke with Bob this evening. He is starting to get around a little bit and goes back to the doctor in a couple of days. He seems to be in good spirits. Let's remember to keep him in our thoughts.
