Well, I recieved an email from Mike Henif today. Mike is a Maste BJPC Judge and he will be comducting a class at DeFalcos followed by a BJCP test to become a certified BJCP Judge.
The class will be every other week at DeFalcos at 6:00pm. I will be going, so if anybody want to ride with me, I will be leaving Beaumont about 4:00pm. I can pick anybody interested at the Tinsel Town parking lot.

Well, you all have expressed interest in a BJCP class in one manner or another. Here are the specifics: 8 classes, 6-8:30 PM (sometimes 9 PM), DeFalco’s (8715 Stella Link), options are Tuesdays (but switches to Wednesday in September) or Wednesday every other week starting in June (but I will need to switch a week or two around in June since I have vacation
and AHA Nationals to attend). Cost will be $15 total. Most of the beer will be provided. Occasional requests for homebrew will be made. The last class will be a huge commercial beer session at either Gingerman or Flying Saucer which is always a blast.
The BJCP exam will most likely be in October or November and will cost $50 for first time test takers with reduced rates for re-takers.
Please let me know if Tuesday or Wednesday is better or if you are no longer interested. For those club presidents, please pass this information around (the class is the same cost no matter what homebrew club you are
in).
The topics list and agenda are attached. Also, be sure to download the BJCP study guide at www.bjcp.org/Interim_Study_Guide.pdf and the
BJCP style guidelines at www.bjcp.org/2004_BJCP_Guidelines.pdf .

Michael Heniff
