Johnny and I (and somebody else said they are going I was buzzed pretty good cant remember who) are taking a fishing trip Friday to the Bolivar peninsula anybody want to go? I checked the water temp it is only at 58.8 degrees the weather is not looking so good for this Friday it should be allot like today if it is we can fish the cut until it warms up then hit the beach the rain never lasts down there mainly with the southern wind it just rains for a few minutes then moves on shore heres the fishing report for this week Trout are fair in Rollover Bay on tandem-rigged Little Fishies and DOA Shrimp. Black drum and redfish are fair to good on crabs and finger mullet in the Intracoastal. and on the comment about the bait shops make up this report why would they say to use artificial bait they don't make money off of those most of them don't carry these baits you have to buy them here from academy or walmart or something and crabs and finger mullet you catch yourself this report hasn't let me down yet but it is from the state here is a link to my Gulf of Mexico Texas region Record caught it 2 years ago third weekend of febuary 541/2" www.4freeimagehost.com/show.php?i=98b1e42797b3.jpgP.S.I was not able to keep this fish because it was over the slot so i'm the reason as of last year you can keep one over 31"

that hit the spot yall should have been there it was a blast only caught 1 big whiting through him back though but I really didn't go to catch a bunch of fish I just wanted to get away on the water new kayak works great took it out in the bay first lade anchor and kicked back then went to the surf started paddling out and the waves filled up my boat and I'm thinking oh shit I'm gunna sink in my brand new boat then I remembered one of the selling features was self bailing design once i made it past the waves it sucked the water rite back out went to the blue water dropped anchor again and kicked back that water was farging cold though (reminder next time bring chest waders only got wet up to waist and a towel ;D)

Cool! CRAP! I am back on 12 hour days! But, if we get a good fishing day on a Saturday or Sunday, maybe we can all go fishing at Rocky's Pier! Make that a Club Fishing Spot! How much was the pier? About $5 or something? I am game! How about next Saturday Weather permiting. Just roll my icechest full of beer out there and relax in a comfortable folding chair and wait .....

I think it was only 3 dollars but hell yeah we can if we could I would rather go Sunday because its easier to close my shop on Sunday's well think about it let me no P.S. are you off on Friday's because of the 12's
isolated and scattered on sat and sun 30% chance but Friday looks good around 70 degrees, Saturday maybe before 3-4 O'Clock will be o.k. any day we go will probably be foggy as hell it was bad yesterday I couldn't even see how to get back to land on the bay side didn't clear till about 3 O'Clock Its a little far away to accurately for cast the weather we will have to keep an eye on it this week
