I would like to participate with the brew-in, but will be needing a partner and will need to agree with the partner on what exactly we want to brew ... Is there anybody out there who needs a partner for the brew-in? I'm flexible regarding what I would like to brew, but would prefer to brew something that does not take months and months and months to become drinkable . Thanks! Nick

Ninja (NJ): I think we can find you a partner. I will not be brewing with either of my regular partners and guess at least one would welcome you. Generally, brewing at this time of year, homebrewers are looking for a summer beer, and for National Homebrewers Day I hope they may plan on 15 gallons in the 10 gallon systems.

Ninja ... I like it, hahaha ;D. A summer beer sounds great by me. I was thinking of maybe an Abita Strawberry clone or something along those lines ... Or even an unfiltered wheat style (thinking Blue Moon here). I'm open to anything, though, so please don't hesitate to post here or call me at 409-338-9436 if you're interested in teaming up for the brew-in.
As far as gear that I can bring, I have a 58-quart mash tun that I made (cooler with stainless steel braid strainer) ... It worked really well for my first AG a couple weeks ago. I also have a propane burner and wort chiller should they be needed.
