I will make a better effort to post the minutes within the first week after the meetings to help insure that situations of people missing dates for club functions may be avoided. DH

Announcements:
Ira to judge on people’s choice kegs on 9/21 at Mac Farland’s in downtown Lake Charles. Three kegs have been submitted by GTB & GTHB.
The German Festival will be held at Robert’s Cove on 10/5/13. Entries for the contest will be $8.00 each. The entries may be submitted at the latest on 9/17/13 at Ira’s Sulphur store location. If you submit an entry you will get free entry into the festival. If you do not submit an entry the fee is $8.00.
Ira’s brew shop in Beaumont will be open till 8:00 pm on First Thursday’s which a people’s choice contest will be held there also. Bring your submittals early.
Ira’s brew shop in Beaumont will be open on Saturday’s from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm.
Pint Jockeys will be on 9/19 at 5:00 pm which will be a pumpkin wheat ale, seasonal beer, and cider venue.
The Logon is now selling growlers.

Old Business:
The Renaissance Festival trip has eighteen people committed and the collection of money to pay for this has begun. If the bus is not acquired the money will be refunded.
Shirts with collars out of 100% cotton will be in the price range of $19.00-$20.00 each. Under Armor shirts will be available for $30.00 each. Thomas is still working on the logo.
The third quarter brew in will be held at Richard’s starting at 8:00-8:30 am.
Erik, Dean, and Randall judged the beer for the GTB contest on 9/7/13.
New Business:
A discussion to get together and brew a Samichlaus beer in December is still being tossed around. A tentative date of 12/7/13 has been suggested.
David Howarth will host the October meeting, Erik G to will host the November meeting. Bob will host the December meeting. The Christmas party will be held on 12/14/13 at Randall C’s place.
This was Stevie H, Bill W, and Logan’s first meeting. This was Scot T’s second meeting.
The motion to close was made by Ronnie. A toast with Mikey’s beer was done
