I will be brewing a Sami Claus Clone with Joe Kubinka Saturday. Joe's father just passed away, so he may not be able to make it Saturday, which is understandable. (Call Barnett's 866-8037 and my wife Tammy has details on the arrangements, I believe the funeral is Thursday). If Joe is not able to make it, I hope to have help brewing this beer from you guys there. Joe was going to take his system out of storage and use it, then I was going to take it back to my house so we can get him brewing regularly again. I ordered the ingredients for 10 gallons of Sami Claus and the total was $136

The forcast is predicting rain Saturday & Sunday! What is the back-up plan. I have a double car garage. How many people are going to be brewing?

The club minutes said that Dave's shop was the back-up location in case of rain, but Mark Kelly told me on the phone the other day that Dave backed out and could not have it as his shop. Does anybody know if that is true?

I just got off the phone with Dean. I will pick up the club canopy tomorrow after work, just in case it rains. It is hell to set up. I have a small 10'x10' canopy that is easy to set up. The only problem with Robert's is the fact that if it rains, it gets muddy. I can host quite a few systems at my house and I have that nice grill for the meat. The Queen said it is okay to have it here as a back-up to the back-up. ;D

GOOD NEWS! It looks like they took rain out of the forcast for Saturday. I may not pick up the club canopy from Dean (It is HUGE) But will bring my canopy just in case. Joe called me yesterday and he said he will be there to help me brew.

I'll be there if anybody needs help. I can atleast GOFER ;D bbushmaster, I will throw in an extra folding chair for you if you need me to. Joe and I could definitely use a hand brewing this Samichlaus. Big ass beer like that are always a little tough to keep under control. Especially with boil overs. And, I can't find my clip on fan! I will have to reserve a couple of bottles for ya if you give us a hand taming this beast. I plan on using 10 drops of Fermcap-s which is supposed to help prevent boil overs, but I will believe it when I see it. I know one thing I am extremely excited about brewing at the brew-in tomorrow. I had been working 12 hour days 6 and 7 days a week, since last December, but all that is pretty much over for good, thank God. I was able to make the brew-in this year, but I was not able to brew. I never missed a brew-in prior to that and I don't plan on missing another one. ;D Brewin to the MAX! Johnny Max www.BrewCrAzY.com

If I can get my ass drug out of bed in time I'll have some breakfast tacos. Bean, potato and cheese. Hope to see everyone tomorrow.
