I don't remember any comments at the last meeting about club dues being due. $25.00/year is reasonable for a club that collects no money from competitions. It could be lower if we can get more members interested in sponsoring a competition.
Remember that club dues have been used to pay for club beers (some may dispute payment for the Imperial Stout) and family events - the spring craw-fish boil, Rondezbreaux, and the Christmas party; all were a big success. I will not be able to attend the next meeting, but you can plan on my dues.
