I just talked with Mike H and Dave V. Mike has the club carboys so this Saturday 28th? I'm going by Mike's at about 9 am, pick up the carboys and go the Dave's and rack the club Bock beer. Dave said tonite that the beer is still fermenting with a nice krausen. The online recipe says rack twice after two weeks each. I am also bringing over some bottles to bottle the balance of the Imp Rusky Stout (Russian Geratol), 1 to 2 gal. We can drink some and enter some. Dave has a beer gun to play with. We'll free up a club carboy for the Bock in two weeks and I'll ensure Cory gets his carboys back. The club porter may be due for a (small) sample too. All are invited. We'll be at Dave's shop probably from 10 to 1. Maybe burn a little meat.
Bob, how's our Bock doing?? Is it ready for kegging? I have an extract to boil up, Bitter, will do it maybe Sunday if the weather clears.

Doug: The beer was early in the secondary, but it still fernenting at about 15 bubbles per minute, our October Fest (Mai Bock) looks like a 7% alcohol beer. If you can make it by Sunday afternoon when I brew with a new member, you can check it out. It is fermenting at 50 - 53F. My guess is that it needs at least a couple of weeks before I drop the temperature. I plan on bringing you keg at the March meeting. Stop by Sunday afternoon if you can to meet Mad Mac and sample some of my beer-of the- month beers that will not be available at the next meeting because I will be in Houston.

Mad Mke: This is an early invitation for you to meet some of our members at Dave's shop when they "rack" a club beer. If you are interested, I'll stop by your house on Saturday after my Saturday normal tennis match (ending about 10;00 AM). You can follow me to Dave's (North Orange) and stay as late as you want. I will need to get back for a commitment in Lake Charles at noon.
I assume we will be brewng Sunday afternoon starting about 1:00 pm ( you can change the time to what fits you best). I have prepared the water, the malt extract, and will have the grains ready to crush. I will have averthing ready to demonstrate and produce a nice Red Ale, which you will share.
