Hey guys. lets see if we can pick up the activity here on this forum like it is on most other Homebrew Club Forums. I started up a new forum at www.beerTribe.com on Sep. 22, 2007 and in two months we have had 2,426 post about homebrewing beer. We can't expect that kind of activity from our little club, but we can use this forum to talk about what we are doing and bounce ideas off of members. I am going to order 1,000 cards with the Club name and forum address on them. A few years ago on our old forum it was a happenin place with 10 to 20 posts per day. We joked, cut up and the involvement in the club was much higher than it is now. We would average 10 to 12 systems at a brew-in.
The only recommendation I have is to respect people's posts, ideas and suggestion. If you are going to criticize them, it will be much better for the club if you do it in an email in private. Now joking and picking in fun like that "BITCH" 1 Bad Brewer does is fine and it adds to the forum.
I am going to try to up the beer chatter here and if everybody works at it, we can breath a little fun into this site. I am looking forward to the challenge.
