Hello,
I'm a new transplant to Beaumont thanks to the Military. I've recently gotten into homebrewing and have brewed 6 batches of All Grain to date.. No prior experience with homebrewing and fortunately all my batches came out top notch.
Have another comrade who just got into extract brewing..
Anyway.. looking into getting together with other homebrews to share our success and utilmately learn a few tricks..
please let me know if your group has an open door policy..
Tim in Beaumont..

Hello Tim,
The monthly meeting is at my house this month. We try to start the meeting around 7:30. So get here anytime after 6:30, to get a bite to eat, sample a few beers and cool off in the pool.
Contact me at John1Yankees@yahoo.com for the address.
Cheers,
John

Thanks for the welcome everyone...
Won't be able to make this meeting as I will be out on Patrol... I'm Active Duty Coast Guard and have been for the past 18 years..
My Comrade or shipmate if you will.. is going to be in Key West on assignment during that time also..hey..! someone's gotta do it.. I told him about the group and he is really stoked about the get-to-gethers, but between you and me.. His first batch (and only batch so far) really stunk. Hopefully he can learn a thing or two from some of you guys...
I've got some Munich Dunkel Lager I just bottled as well as a nice Schwartzbier. They will be ready in two more weeks which might be perfect for the following meeting..
Tomorrow is brew day for me and I'm doing a Black Ale and a West Coast style Pale Ale for my brother in-law due to visit in July.
I prefer lagers and dark ones at that..
Who knows, maybe someday I'll have you all over here for a meeting..I have a pool also and love to bar-b-cue. Oh and like to test out new brews..
Again, can't thank you enough for your replies..
Tim in Beaumont..

Welcome aboard. I know a couple of the Coastie's at the MSO-PA. Worked with Capt. Richie on a project or two before she transferred out. Look forward to seeing you at the meeting.
