Well, I made a 1 gallon starter for my American Amber Ale I am brewing. I now decant most of the liquid off of my starter and just add the yeast to my primary (to keep the beer clean tasting). So, I calculated my recipe for my starter to be a gallon of American Pale Ale hopped with Centennial. So when I go to pitch my yeast this weekend, I will rack the starter into another gallon jug for its secondary topped up with distilled water. When it finishes I will just bottle it with coopers drops. I should get about 8 or 9 bottles of American Pale Ale. ;D BONUS!!
Just Brew It! John Mc
