allright this is my first recipe ive done myself im trying to make a 90 ipa anybody, feel free to correct me, please
10 pounds american 2 row 1 pound 2 row barley malt 130-170 ebc
.25 fuggle 90 min .25 fuggle 84 min .25 fuggle 69 min .25 warrior 62 min .25 warrior 55 min .25 fuggle 48min .25 fuggle 41 .25 fuggle 34 .25 fuggle 27 .25 fuggle 20 .25 fuggle 13 .25 fuggle 6 .25 fuggle dry .25 warrior dry .25 fuggle dry whitbread yeast water salts
mash in 122 raise to 149 till conversion is complete mash out 170. 105 min boil start firm at 71 let rise to 74 dry hop in secodary 3-5 days lower temp to 32 im thinking of substituting some of the fuggles for amarillo what do yall think i used a program i found called qbrew for this recipe
o.k. johnny I need to either borrow that pot or let me brew this with you I need the help anyway (ill fix your belt for free)

also it says to lower to 32 degrees after 3-5 days in secondary, why? its an ale

Sounds good! and yes you can brew over here, just bring some beer and I will have some too! Is that a 5 gallon recipe? It looks like it will be arounf 5% but I did not run the number. It sure has a hell of a lot of hops. Not sure if you can get them all in time. Do you have them already?

yeah I do have the hops and that program estimates it at 5.8% I had the alcohol above 6.5% using something other than the 2 row american before I got the grain I calculated the recipe with lager malt and I think I calculated 15 pounds so it was like 6.5% or close to it

i changed it up a bit i went to 1.25 pounds 2row barley malt and if my efficiency correction is rite that puts the alcohol at 7.2% but my gravity is .001 below minimum and color is 1 degree above maximum do you think that would be alright?
