WOW! I want to thank everybody who was able to make it here on such short notice (only 3 days). It was a big wild brew bash/party. I know we impressed the hell out of the reporter and the photographer. I think she stayed here for almost 3 hours talking to all of us. I am trying to remember who all was here. Me, Raybo, Dean, Corey, Guy, Eric, Richard, Joe, Darrel, Jason, Ira, Ronnie, Candace, Tammy, Mark M. and I think that is it. We had 5 club systems brewing beer. We brewed a Strong Scotch Ale, Porter, Blond Ale, Mead and I can't remember what Corey brewed. We had meat burning on the grill and we sure did drink our share of good beer! Ira had a great jalapeno beer too.
Thanks Everybody for coming through for the Port Arthur New Article and the club. Amy said we can look forward to having a full page in the Sunday Life section on the 27th. I hope this is a sign of a great year to come!

Joe just called me and said Darren called this morning to tell him that the air-locks blew off of both carboys and there was a mess. I guess his fermentation took off. My fermentation was chugging also, but I added a little Fermcas-S to keep it from foaming up. If we would have had a clue that Joe's Porter would rock like that we could have added some to his carboys too. He used the Fermentis S-04 dry yeast.
