3 members recognized at Nebraska St. Fair

Three club members and a relative of one were recognized at the brewing competition at the Nebraska State Fair last week-end. A total of 6 beers were recognized, but three evidently did not score enough for a ribbon. Complete results at www.rivercityroundup.org/dcf/beer/. Below is a summary:

Bob & Doug, 2nd in Light Lager (Vienna Beer)
Bob: 2nd for Munich Dunkel, red ribbon
Bob: 3rd for Dark American Lager (extract beer)
Bob & son 3rd for ESB, white ribbon
Bob & Doug: 2nd for weizen
Bob & Johnny Mc.: 2nd for dubbel (too dark for a tripple), white ribbon
