Of the 5 beers I submitted to the Hoppy Halloween competition in N. Dakota, one won first place and two won second place. All were pre-Rita beers. The first place was a dubble brewed 2-1/2 years ago (no John, this was not our bloody tripple). One second place was also a Belgium in the sour beer category (Brewed 3 years ago), a Framboise. The third was my Stein beer (brewed 2 years ago). Some beers definately get better with age.
