well fermentation went great so far what was our starting grav John C I cant remember it was 30 wasn't it I am ordering a new hydrometer today, think I am going to split into four different batches and add varying amounts of coffee to each and maybe keep one plain as a control P.S. thanks Johnny had a great time awesome turnout also hope next time we will have one more system if I ever find some kegs

Jason,
The gravity was 1.040.
All fine with the fermentation, steady bubbling of CO2 and no off odors.
I will split mine in half and a coffee to one.

Tasted it today when i moved to secodary it allready tastes allot like black coffee Iwill still experiment with adding the coffee but maybe we extracted some unwanted stuff I had an idea make a cream ale and add coffee call it coffee and cream
