My ideas for what we should discuss at the next meeting:
Needed (existing) business items - Get accurate head count for Saturday the 16th. - Finalize menu for the 16th. - Decide if/how much non-members should pay. - Set meeting locations for the next three months.
New Items -Discuss amendments to club bylaws Revise to add rules governing induction of new members. Revise to add method to remove a member from the club. Others (Bob, you had some items). - Vote whether to have a partial or full 5 gallon keg of club beer at every meeting for members to sample. All members should still bring their home brew or unusual purchased beer. - Club trip Do we want to do anything at all? Hit St Arnold's, pubs, Astros game, with or w/o spouses? Weekend trip to Austin with spouses? Anyone else have any ideas? - Any thoughts on how to show some of our newer members how to make a 5 or 10 gallon beer batch? We have several newer folks that might benefit from seeing a batch made. Maybe best done at the next brew-in. - Fall brew-in in Sept? - Winter brew-in in November? - Next club brew?
