Thanks for coming to the shrimp boil and rib roast

Cory was an excellent cook and we have more shrimp and ribs/brisket than we can eat in 3 meetings. I know how much work you have to do to cook briskets. I have the left over food in the freezer and will transport the BBQ /
Shrimp tomorrow to John Cotton's at lunch tomorrow. John has the freezer space and the next meeting will be at his house. Thanks, John. We shouldn't need to bring food to the meetings for a while. Thanks to Bob for bringing the club brew early and picking it up on Sunday. Thanks to Mark K and John C for coming early and helping put up the much needed tarps. It was good to see Capt Jim again after a long hiatus. Thanks also to all the ladies for bringing the side dishes.

Just kegged 10 gallons of blond ale for a retirement party at work. Got down to 1010. Never got a beer down that low before. But then again, never brewed a blonde ale. Thanks for making the Spring Boil a great event.

Ray, why are you thanking us, we should be thanking you & spouse and Corey (and maybe my brew partners for the beer, Richard, Eric, & Doug). The meat was fantastic, the best ribs I have ever had. We all were glad to see Cap't Jim, since many of had worried that he may have road out Ike in the old dance hall in Bridge City he was restoring. If I had put as much work into it, I would be hesitant to leave.

We missed all the new members (and some older ones); you paid for this event and you also missed a great party. Rains interfered somewhat, but all sit in covered areas. Those participating in the dart game got a little wet, but didn't seem to mind. My wife got wet more than most - except those that swam - when she came out from inside and sit in her chair full of water (Ray tryed to warn her, but was to late). We left a little early because of Carol's wet butt.
