Aug 1st is mead day does anybody want to make a mead we can register our mead brew site with the aha and there is even an official recipe we dont have to do that recipe but it would be cool www.beertown.org/events/meadday/ |

well I have friend that says he can get 5 gal buckets of honey real cheep from some bea keepers he knows he was probably talking out his ass but we will see i think i am gunna try to make a mead hate to tie up a fermenter for that long but owell I could use an ozarka bottle or some thing any body that has made a mead have a recipe or advice

Mead is easy enough to make. Need to make another batch, was not impressed with my last batch. I cheaped out on the honey.

Raybo do you still have some of it I have read on other sites that aging usually helps any bad mead become better or you can back sweeten and/or shut down fermentation. Beermaker if you read this, on that mead that you made for that guy and gave me a bottle did you sweeten it afterwords or was that just all the fruit would it be possible to get that recipe.p.s. I still have your bottle I will hold it for ransom in return for the recipe,  but that was some good shiznick |
