Gentlemen,
I have said before that we need to start working as a club on the Big Beer Brew Bash. According to the Beer, TX blog on Chron.com, next year's style is going to be English Barleywine. I know some of the club members, Raybo in particular comes to mind, have made an outstanding English Barleywine in the past. I want to make a suggestion that we have a club brew in and everyone brew English Barleywine and get together as a club and decide which one is the best and send it to next year's competition. Since English Barleywine is a big beer that would benefit from aging I would hope we could do this soon. Maybe we can discuss tonight.
