No not that kind... I would like to know who in the club might be interested in eating Maryland style steamed crabs. That way when I decide to have a crabfest I'll know who to invite. I want people who like to pick some crab because thats all we eat for hours. Then wash it down with beer.

ME! ME! ME! ME! I don't believe I have ever eaten Maryland style crabs before. Now this does sounds familiar...... Did you talk about this when I was over at your house sucking down pints of Foghorn Barleywine from the keg. That night was fuzzy..... and the next morning was too SHARP and painful for my liking.

I use whatever dark beer I have on tap at the time to steam with. The last batch being my weak EKU. The only crabs your going to get at a seafood store is tiny number 2's . I get my #1s at bridge city bait for about $14.00 a dozen. For a little more you can get really nice true number 1's ordered from pauls seafood on hwy12. The downside is you have to give a lot of notice and its not a sure thing half the time. Crab eating is hard enough you might as well get some meat out of the crab.

No good for anything are they? Oh, by the way, I've got another batch of Oktoberfest on tap that is truly to die for - better than any batch I've done before - brewed it up on June 1st and it's like orgasm for the tastebuds. I'm sure it'll disappear in record time though. Good thing I've got another 20 gallons in the fermenters! Glad you're getting your steaming touch - the beer is the key!
