Corey will have a table for his brewery this year also
also he says we (the club)will be able to have a table set up like last year who is doing it this year I will do it if nobody else wants to does any body have any ideas for the table I was thinking pretty much do the same thing we did last year, Brandon had a good idea maybe put a beer glass with all the ingrediant layered to show what ingrediants and what order they go into a beer

I'm going to make this point purely as a suggestion, so take it for what its worth. This event is a fund raiser for the musuem, and one of their bigger ones. If people are going to show up and work the booth, that is fine. But I would suggest if you plan on eating and drinking that you buy a ticket. I think if we have alot of people who show up for the club and don't buy tickets, not only will we probably not get invited back, it will reflect negatively on us as a group. Something to keep in mind.

well there must be a mis communication nobody is getting in free except the ONE person running the booth like I said "limited to 400 people so get your tickets" so you may want to buy them in advance

Jason,
I'll go out and pick some if that is what you need, assuming they made it through today's rain. We had some good cones on Saturday. I thought we had some pre-printed flyers with club info and contacts? Anybody?

Jason,
We did not get a lot of production this year, because we had to recultivate after the hurricane. We were just planning on cutting the vines back so I'll see if I can get a branch with some leaves and cones.

The vines would be a welcomed addition and something we did not have last year. Good point about it being a fun raiser.

Jason,
Just tell me what you need and I will have it there Thursday. Between the rain and heat, the hop vines and cones look like hell, but I can bring one if needed. Just out of curiosity, how many of us are going Thursday?

Jason, I have the club flier you can make copies of. I also have several pounds of whole leaf hops we can use. I will bring them thursday night. I was thinking of a jug of water, and a jug of some fermenting beer with a bubble cap bubbling away. They make a great presentation. Along with magazines, bottle caps, a capper etc.

I got to remember the club banner. Just thinking, I think next year we might have some beers (maybe 2 or 4 homebrewed club brews) brewed in cornelius kegs for the participants. That would earn our keep in the Art of Beer plus show how good our home brew is.

It may not be feasible at this late hour, but there is a keg of club beer in the club freezer. Its last year's Maibock, which if I recall was not one of better efforts so we probably want to pass. I think if we arrange with Brandon far enough in advance for next year, we could provide all the beer they want.

Eric: Have you tasted the Maibock "last year's Maibock, which if I recall was not one of better efforts" (quotes from Eric's message). I have tasted mine and it's great, Doug loved it. The beer Richard has is for the Christmas party. I don't agree on giving away our homebrew when we are starting to restrict membership.

I have been corrected. The Maibock that is in the freezer is not last year's, but the Maibock that was brewed earlier this year at Dean's. Evidently it is in good shape and getting ready for the Christmas party.
