If anyone is going to Houston and going to the big Specs or Central Market, I have heard they both have Stone 09 Vertical Epic. If someone will pick up a six pack I will gladly pay you. I was hoping we could sample it at the meeting. It is Belgian Imperial Porter.

Ok guys, I've become a little bit obsessed with this lately, but I think as a club we need to brew the Stone Vertical Epic Series. For those that are not familiar go here www.stonebrew.com/epic/Obviously, we are toward the end of the series so we would have some catching up to do, but we have the recipes so we could take our time. Whether we got several systems together and did it in a few brew ins or whether we did it over a long period of time, I think it would be a worthwhile endeavor. I'm sure other clubs have done it. Maybe some of our members that regularly contact other clubs could see if others have done it. I think it would be a great experience nonetheless. Please feel free to discuss. |

Unfortunately, it looks like I will be going to Houston next week for a memorial for a friend. If I have the time I will drop by Specs. I have two other engagements for next weekend also that looks like I will have to cancel out on. I would like to try the beer myself.
