Gentlemen,
I first want to thank Corey for his leadership over the past year and a half. Corey stepped in as president during the middle of 2008 and the club has benefitted by his leadership. We all owe him a debt of gratitude.
I want to thank the club members for trusting me to lead the club for the next year.
My theme and slogan for the next year is "Brew More Beer."
As our goal for this year I think we need to work on our identity as a club. I plan on inviting Ronnie Crocker who writes the Beer Texas Blog for the Houston Chronicle to one of our meetings and I'm hoping we can make a splash in the Big Brew Bash at St. Arnolds this year. As a club, there is no reason why we can't brew more club beers.
I plan on sitting down with the rest of the officers after Christmas to plan out agenda for the first several months of the year.
