The woman that is responsible for the date is certainly not a homebrewer (probably the effect of merging homebrewers and craft brewers). I will communicate with her and get the right date. I will register our club.

its O.K. Bob I got it under control it was my fault I read the web site wrong the first time it is on the first Saturday of may but yeah she doesn't no much about brewing it says on the site to meet before noon to toast then brew after www.homebrewersassociation.org/pages/events/national-homebrew-day But I do have one for ya Bob as competition coordinator there is a video competition for the big brew you tube contest •Contestants have from May 1, 2010 until Sunday, May 9, 2010 to upload their AHA Big Brew 2010 videos to YouTube. •All titles should begin with “AHA Big Brew 2010” to ensure they can be easily searched. Adding tag lines like “beer", "homebrew" & "homebrewing” will also help search functions. •Videos must be 3 minutes or fewer to be entered into the contest. •Prizes will be awarded for the most-watched video and the video that best captures the essence and teamwork of AHA Big Brew. •Awards will be announced May 18, 2010.

Jason: I am only coordinating the brew-in. If you want to take videos and submit them, feel free. I want this to be a club event and we should be able to show teamwork in coming together to purchase grains, crushing them as a club, acidifying the sparge water of everyone present, and cooperation by multiple people brewing together. I think this can be a major event for our club.
