Saturday was not only in celebration of National Home brewers Day at Ira's, it was the official opening of his shop. The Mayor of Sulphur and the council-woman for that area showed up to formally cut the ribbon. I added 5 gallons of beer to the total of 25 gallons brewed. Ira was busy most of the day with sales and politics. Ronny was outside explaining how beer was brewed. It was a fun day; I just wish that more of our members had showed up (Richard and Judy were there).

I showed up around noon. Doug and I were attending the International Festival in Lafayette. I picked up some supplies for Dean and I and had a great time. I wished I could have stayed longer. I had to leave early to attend my god child's first communion.
